Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bartending experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • legal age to serve alcohol
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • knowledge of ABC laws and responsible beverage service

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
  • extensive knowledge of liquor, wine and beer
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong multitasking abilities
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a friendly warm welcome
  • make recommendations and answer all related inquiries
  • check identification of all guests to verify they are of legal drinking age
  • take orders from serving staff and directly from guests
  • record drink orders accurately into POS system
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
  • upsell drink and menu items to guests
  • respond promptly to requests from guests in a polite and professional manner
  • follow all established procedures for serving limits
  • display glasses and bottles in an eye catching and attractive display
  • ensure clean glasses, bar equipment and working areas
  • comply with all health, safety and sanitation standards and policies
  • monitor inventory and restock bar
