Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • three years prior bartending experience required
  • high-volume hospitality experience required
  • excellent oral communication skills required
  • positive interpersonal skills required
  • state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
  • ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome
  • take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests
  • mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards
  • ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests
  • prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies
  • serve food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
  • demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
  • maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glasses as needed
  • provide guidance to guests on hotel activities, dining options, and general hotel and regional information
  • promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management
  • process guest checks and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card and room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures
  • report any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management
