Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of state liquor laws
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Flexible with long hours sometimes required
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must comply with company safety and security procedures
- Must abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct
- Must be service oriented with customer service skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of ServSafe and ABC online training
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Travel as required for hotel familiarization and content creation
- Must primarily work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST with occasional weekend or holiday shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree preferred
- 1+ previous bartending experience in hospitality or fast paced environment preferred
- Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Micros station
- Demonstrate working knowledge of all property safety and security procedures
- Must be service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, management, and coworkers
- Must be energetic and outgoing
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to understand and work with basic financial information
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and modern classics
- Effective listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines

Job Duties
- Welcome all guest upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner
- Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in accordance with policies
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- Know and comply with state liquor laws
- Ensure established pars are maintained
- Perform all side work duties according to schedules
- Attend to bar and tables, take orders and deliver promptly
- Bus tables and set in a timely manner
- Perform opening and closing side work according to standards
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to standards for mixing, portion control and presentation
- Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Ensure the bar, lounge, lobby and event areas are kept clean and tidy
- Be familiar with the computer POS system
- Carry out cashiering functions by closing checks and servicing guests
- Follow all state liquor laws and assigned training
- Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor carefully to avoid problems with intoxicated guests and report to management when necessary
- Complete ServSafe and ABC online training
- Stock and clean glassware
- Check soda tanks to ensure they are full and secured properly to the bar
- Prepare all garnishes
- Prepare juices and syrups for bar service
- Change kegs and soda bibs
- Assist in cleaning of tables and lounge area as needed
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Deliver food to guests
- Knowledge of food and drink menu to offer suggestions and upsell
- Quality control all items served to guests
- Follow hotel handbook protocols
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
