Job Description
White Lodging is a premier hospitality company known for developing and operating a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants across some of the most vibrant cities in the United States. With a dedicated commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences, White Lodging blends exceptional service with modern amenities to create a remarkable environment for both guests and employees. The company’s approach centers around hospitality as a powerful way to make people feel valued and welcomed, which sets them apart in the competitive lodging and food service industry. Their operations reflect a focus on quality, teamwork, and the professional growth of their staff, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
The Bartender role at the Marriott Indianapolis, operated by an independent franchisee under White Lodging’s portfolio, is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing excellent food and beverage service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This position involves more than just crafting and serving drinks; it requires creating personal connections with guests through engaging conversation and attentive service that enhances the overall dining experience. Bartenders will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, product knowledge, guest satisfaction, and responsible alcohol service, all while contributing to a respectful and friendly workplace.
In this role, bartenders are crucial in ensuring guests receive timely service, with thorough knowledge of menu items, preparation techniques, and presentation standards. They will be responsible for monitoring beverage consumption carefully to prevent overserving and complying with identification requirements to maintain safety and regulatory standards. The position demands physical stamina due to the need to stand and move quickly for long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
White Lodging empowers its bartenders with comprehensive training, competitive benefits starting from day one such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for career advancement through leadership development programs and tuition reimbursement. Additional perks include paid parental leave, a robust 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off with rollover, employee assistance programs, and exclusive discounts on hotels, dining, and entertainment, making this an attractive role for hospitality professionals seeking to grow within a supportive, dynamic environment.
