Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- one year bartending experience required
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate company certifications
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- ability to mix and serve various drinks quickly
- ability to handle money and make change
- ability to operate cash registers, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to open and close bar and maintain cleanliness
- ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- one year bartending experience required
- two or more years of bartending experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain company-required certifications
- ability to take written and verbal directions in English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- ability to handle difficult situations professionally
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean and organized manner
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- assist guests by providing information about the hotel and surrounding area
- perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- handle money and make change accurately
- operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
