Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before customers or team members
  • ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, occasionally crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in moderate to loud and smoke-filled environments
  • maintain consistent attendance and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • understanding of relevant laws and regulations
  • ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions

Job Duties

  • Interact effectively with the public and team members
  • perform excellent customer service at all times
  • mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures
  • mix and serve beverages promptly and efficiently to Beverage/Food Servers at assigned service station
  • participate in receiving and issuing liquor and supplies in conjunction with supervisor
  • maintain accurate tracking and inventories of spirits and wines
  • maintain a neat and clean bar station continuously
  • monitor guest needs to ensure all requests are fulfilled promptly
  • maintain knowledge of ABC Codes, Dram Shop Act and bartender responsibilities
  • complete Alcohol Awareness Training and renew certification every two years
  • comply with health and sanitation standards and maintain food safety certification
  • maintain knowledge of Gaming and beverage regulations
  • participate as a team member to ensure operational standards
  • maintain consistent and regular attendance
  • perform reasonable requests made by management
