Job Description

San Manuel Casino, a premier gaming and entertainment destination in the Inland Empire, is renowned for its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. Owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the casino offers a vibrant and dynamic environment characterized by exceptional hospitality and world-class amenities. Known for its diverse gaming options, award-winning dining experiences, and a variety of entertainment events, San Manuel Casino stands as a pillar in the community and a leader in the hospitality industry. The establishment prides itself on fostering a positive work culture that nurtures employee growth and success, making it one of the largest private employers in the region.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bartender to join our team under the direction of the Supervisor, Beverage. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate, responsible, and efficient beverage service to our guests at various venues including the casino floor, outdoor pool deck, and during special events. The Bartender will be expected to maintain adherence to the Yaamava Brand Standards, guaranteeing a consistent, high-quality service experience. From preparing classic and contemporary drinks to ensuring cleanliness and inventory control, this position requires a blend of technical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands not only proficiency in handling beverage service but also excellence in guest communication and teamwork. Bartenders will interact with a diverse clientele and must excel at multitasking, especially during peak hours, while maintaining a welcoming presence. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing cash transactions securely, abiding by all regulatory standards such as age verification and alcohol service policies, and safeguarding a $2,000 bank against any discrepancies. Beyond beverage preparation, the role entails assisting with special projects including banquets, concerts, and large-scale events, contributing to the overall smooth operations of the department.

Given the unique environment of a casino and resort, candidates must be comfortable working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include frequent standing, lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally, and performing repetitive motions. Safety, cleanliness, and organization are emphasized to maintain the highest standards of service and workplace environment. This position offers a stimulating and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company. Join San Manuel Casino and be part of a team that values integrity, respect, and exceptional service in the heart of the Inland Empire hospitality scene.
