Job Description
Montage International is a distinguished leader in the luxury hospitality industry, known for delivering extraordinary and personalized experiences across its portfolio of Montage Hotels & Resorts and Pendry Hotels. The company prides itself on fostering a vibrant culture that emphasizes passion, creativity, and genuine care for both its guests and associates. At Montage International, the philosophy is simple yet powerful: do what you love. This guiding principle is reflected in every aspect of the guest experience and in the empowerment of its team members to bring their unique talents to life in an inspiring and supportive environment.
Within this innovative hospitality group, Pendry Hotels stands out as a dynamic brand that combines refined luxury with a contemporary, vibrant atmosphere. The team at Pendry Hotels believes that their success is all because of the dedicated individuals who create authentic, personalized experiences for every guest who walks through their doors. The environment promotes creative freedom, continuous learning, career growth opportunities, and most importantly, fun. Working as a Bartender at Pendry is more than just a job; it is a lifestyle and a career opportunity where your passion and talent are valued and nurtured.
The Bartender role at Pendry Hotels invites those passionate about spirits, wine, and culinary arts to join a team that values integrity, excellent communication, and a desire to deliver WOW moments. This position requires individuals who can skillfully engage with guests, take orders efficiently, craft cocktails expertly, and upsell with knowledge and confidence. Bartenders maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area while collaborating closely with management, fellow bartenders, and service staff to ensure excellent service throughout every shift. The ability to adapt and take on additional responsibilities outside the typical scope of duties as business needs arise is also key to success in this role.
Pendry Hotels values associates who are open to learning and growth, both personally and professionally, and who are passionate about helping their colleagues do the same. The company offers a flexible work schedule that includes weekends and holidays, accommodating the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. Prior bartending experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems such as Micros are advantageous, and experience in luxury hotel settings is a plus.
Compensation for the Bartender position includes a competitive base wage of $16.90 per hour, not including gratuities or incentive pay. Associates also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their well-being and lifestyle. These benefits include free meals, free uniforms and uniform cleaning, healthcare options, a 401k retirement plan with company matching, hotel discounts, and access to associate events and community outreach programs throughout the year.
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods during shifts, regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to push and pull equipment weighing up to 200 pounds. Pendry Hotels is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all associates feel valued, recognized, and appreciated.
The opportunity to work at Pendry as a Bartender is an invitation to join a team that encourages creativity, growth, and fun while contributing to memorable experiences for guests. This role is ideal for individuals who love the hospitality industry, enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, and are ready to embark on a rewarding career path within one of the most respected names in luxury hospitality.
