Job Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
- Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for shifts
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk distances, perform repetitive motions with wrists and hands, and lift certain supplies
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or related consumer-facing field preferred
- Knowledge of drink preparation and previous bartending experience preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel amenities and food safety protocols
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up and stock
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Operate POS system and secure accurate payment
- Sanitize and clean bar area and complete daily inventory and side work
- Promote current food and beverage offerings and document orders
- Attend monthly departmental meetings
- Work effectively and efficiently with service and kitchen teams
