Job Requirements

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk distances, perform repetitive motions with wrists and hands, and lift certain supplies
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality or related consumer-facing field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation and previous bartending experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with hotel amenities and food safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up and stock
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • Operate POS system and secure accurate payment
  • Sanitize and clean bar area and complete daily inventory and side work
  • Promote current food and beverage offerings and document orders
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings
  • Work effectively and efficiently with service and kitchen teams
