Job Requirements

  • Equivalent to a high school education
  • Experience as a bartender
  • Basset certification
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written
  • Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks under pressure
  • Ability to interact courteously and professionally with guests and staff
  • Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency
  • Ability to stand and exert fast paced mobility for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to bend, kneel and balance
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a high school education
  • Experience and training as a bartender
  • Basset certification
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to maintain attention and complete tasks despite interruptions
  • Courteous and professional interaction with guests and staff
  • Ability to respond quickly to guest and staff requests
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Ability to stand and move quickly for up to 4 hours
  • Good sense of balance and ability to bend and kneel
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepares and sets dining room and service areas according to BEO and department standards
  • Greets guests and answers questions regarding food items, beverages and service
  • Ensures all courses and beverages are served promptly, including plated, buffet style, or family style events
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times, clean and well-groomed according to standards
  • Presents, opens and pours wine as required
  • Assists with breakdown of salad dishes, glassware and linen
  • Follows all policy and procedures according to company and department
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety of work areas throughout shift
  • Performs closing duties according to department standards
  • Mixes and prepares drink orders according to company standards, garnishes properly
  • Operates cash register accurately by ringing in transactions, accepting payment, providing change
  • Requests stock and monitors bar stock levels
  • Maintains cleanliness of bar and station
  • Prepares bars for the following shift by completing opening and closing duties
