Job Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one years old
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
  • Valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Valid Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
  • Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 15 pounds

Job Duties

  • Beverage preparation including cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, and wines
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the beverage menu and current industry trends
  • Take and process drink orders efficiently using the POS system
  • Create visually appealing drinks with appropriate garnishes and glassware
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain an organized cash drawer
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and coordinated service
  • Follow all safety, sanitation procedures, and liquor laws
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
