Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in hospitality industry
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- San Diego County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
- Completion of anti-harassment and nondiscrimination training
- Responsible Alcohol Service certification upon training completion
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, push, and pull
- Neat appearance
- Friendly and engaging personality
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Knowledge of POS system (Toast)
- Adherence to food safety and quality regulations

Job Duties
- Welcoming guests and determining beverage preferences
- Making recommendations and taking beverage and food orders
- Up-selling additional products when appropriate
- Preparing and serving beverages according to standardized recipes
- Checking identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Monitoring guest behavior to ensure safe alcohol service
- Collaborating with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness of work and dining areas
- Developing new cocktail recipes
- Completing opening, running, and closing side-work duties
- Upholding all standards for cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction
- Adhering to all hotel policies, health regulations, and safety standards
- Communicating efficiently with management, service staff, and guests
