Founded with the mission to provide families with affordable access to the nation’s most sought-after vacation destinations, Westgate Resorts has established itself as a leader in the vacation ownership and hospitality industry. With properties located in key destinations such as Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona, Westgate Resorts serves a diverse clientele looking for quality accommodations and memorable vacation experiences at competitive prices. The role offered by Westgate Resorts is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality and customer service, specifically within the beverage and bar service environment. This position is a critical support role that assists bartenders and cocktail servers in delivering effective beverage service to guests. The responsibilities involve maintaining the bar’s operational readiness by ensuring an adequate supply of garnishes, glassware, ice, liquor, and other necessary items at the workstation. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Furthermore, this job requires the capability to handle physical tasks such as scooping ice, transporting heavy kegs, maintaining glassware, and performing routine maintenance tasks associated with bar equipment. Employees must be adept at working in fast-paced and sometimes confined environments, demonstrating good organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and safety standards. Westgate Resorts values employees who are proactive, reliable, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests, team members, and management effectively. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess basic mathematical and English language skills, and demonstrate the dexterity needed for handling bar tools and equipment safely. The role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in hospitality service and gain experience in a renowned resort chain known for its customer-centric approach and high standards of operational excellence. Joining Westgate Resorts means becoming part of a growing family that is passionate about providing world-class vacation experiences and committed to fostering a positive work environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth. This position offers both seasoned hospitality professionals and newcomers to the industry the chance to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive setting.
