Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 21 years for bartending and 19 years for serving as required by law
  • Valid liquor license where applicable
  • Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong understanding of food handling and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant or banquet setting preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems and ability to handle cash accurately
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with customers and team members
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to up-sell menu items when appropriate
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older to bartend, 19 years or older to serve, with a valid liquor license

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, pre-bussing tables and disposing of waste properly
  • Operate the Point of Sale system accurately to process orders and payments efficiently
  • Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper storage
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address guest concerns
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations including food handling and responsible alcohol service
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance bartending and service skills
