The Bartender role within PENN Entertainment is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a lively and interactive environment. This position involves handling register transactions accurately, adhering to stock management procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages. The bartender will be responsible for setting up and clearing the bar area, training new staff members, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel events and operational hours of the food and beverage outlets. Candidates must be capable of pouring up to 240 drinks per hour consistently, following specialty drink recipes precisely as provided by the Beverage Manager, and garnishing all cocktails served. Accountability for managing cash banks exceeding $1,000, processing various payment methods including comps and credit cards, and completing necessary cash documentation is essential. Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment and delivering courteous service to all guests and team members are fundamental components of this role.
