Job Requirements
- Must have two years of experience in full service bar or equivalent
- Must possess accurate mathematical skills
- Must have knowledge and experience in alcoholic beverage preparation
- Must understand menu, specials, wine list, liquor list, and recipes
- Must be familiar with liquor liability laws and accounting procedures
- Must meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Must communicate effectively with guests
- Must provide a persona compatible with the restaurant's image
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must accurately work with and account for large sums of money
- Must be able to open beer, liquor and wine bottles frequently
- Must be physically able to move and transport filled glass racks and cases of beer, wine or liquor when bar back is not available
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in a full service bar or equivalent

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages directly to customers at the bar and lounge areas
- Arrange and set up beverages, mixes, and supplies efficiently according to procedures
- Complete all side work as assigned
- Prepare ingredients for mixed beverage recipes
- Use bar equipment and utensils safely
- Follow prescribed recipes for beverage preparation including exact alcohol pour measures
- Manage cash drawer and account for cash accurately
- Operate the bar service independently when necessary
- Take and fill food orders from bar guests using the register system
- Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and co-workers
- Maintain security and inventory of bar stock
- Assist host staff with answering telephones
- Relate pleasantly and with good humor to guests
- Perform all aspects of bar service following standing procedures
