Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a bartender
  • TiPS alcohol service certification and SafeStaff certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Must meet local age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Available to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to stand or walk for most of shift
  • Fine motor coordination
  • Ability to handle lighted candles and hot fluids
  • Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs and with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers and kitchens
  • Ability to roll or carry tables and chairs
  • Excellent sight and balance

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for the people, place and culture of the community
  • Minimum of two years experience as a bartender in a free-standing or hotel restaurant or bar
  • TiPS alcohol service certification or SafeStaff certificate of completion, or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Fluency in English verbally and non-verbally
  • Excellent sight and balance
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and bartending techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Experience with classic fine dining service models

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model company principles of people, place and character by being proud of who you are, where you come from and who we serve
  • Participate in daily line ups and quarterly all staff meetings to develop ideas and provide feedback
  • Assist in all aspects of the F&B guest experience from greeting to timely and friendly execution of orders
  • Work in an organized and clean fashion with respect for guests, peers, equipment, and workspace
  • Use steps of service to provide professional service and exceed guest expectations, ensuring alcohol is served safely and legally
  • Be accountable for thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, and accurate monetary transactions
  • Share extensive beverage knowledge with guests to enhance experiences
  • Observe physical facilities and communicate challenges to leadership
  • Communicate effectively with F&B and Culinary teams to ensure timely food delivery
  • Assist in other F&B areas as needed including banquets, bar, café, in-room dining, pool, and restaurants
