Job Duties

Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and having them removed
keep the bar area clean in accordance with the company guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
greet guests with a smile and by name if known and welcome them to the restaurant
mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined to keep drink costs at a minimum and consistent
develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar always satisfied
prepare and assemble food items from the menu, including appetizers, snacks, and light meals
educate customers on food items, how they are prepared and served
ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards
provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, food condiments and other accessories
organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks, date per requirements of health codes
assist in ensuring patrons always have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate
special projects as assigned by manager
