Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages according to CT legal guidelines
- Ability to multitask in a highly active environment
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
- Excellent physical fitness and visual acuity
- Ability to present a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Job Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
- Unexpired bartender certification
- Knowledge of state and local laws concerning sale of alcoholic drinks
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Mix drinks quickly and accurately
- Check identification of members and guests to verify minimum drinking age
- Use the club's POS system to take drink orders and charge members
- Fill drink orders placed in the restaurant and assist servers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including washing glasses and arranging barwares
- Restock liquor, mixed drink ingredients, and bar supplies
- Track inventory and report needs to the Food and Beverage Manager
- Remove empty bottles, trash, and replace empty beer kegs
