Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages according to CT legal guidelines
  • Ability to multitask in a highly active environment
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Excellent physical fitness and visual acuity
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Unexpired bartender certification
  • Knowledge of state and local laws concerning sale of alcoholic drinks
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
  • Mix drinks quickly and accurately
  • Check identification of members and guests to verify minimum drinking age
  • Use the club's POS system to take drink orders and charge members
  • Fill drink orders placed in the restaurant and assist servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including washing glasses and arranging barwares
  • Restock liquor, mixed drink ingredients, and bar supplies
  • Track inventory and report needs to the Food and Beverage Manager
  • Remove empty bottles, trash, and replace empty beer kegs
