Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of previous bartending experience
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • knowledge of state liquor requirements
  • basic computer and POS knowledge
  • cash handling experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays

Job Duties

  • Serve each customer courteously and efficiently with a positive attitude
  • process transactions on a point-of-sale register
  • maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area
  • greet and communicate with guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food
  • mix drinks, cocktails, and other beverages in compliance with company standards
  • check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol sales
  • ensure bar area is fully equipped and clean
  • prepare inventory or purchase requisitions to replenish supplies
  • demonstrate knowledge of food menu and beverage selections
  • balance receipts and maintain proper cash accountability
  • perform drop and count procedures according to company policies
  • follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
  • prioritize work according to management needs
  • establish strong communication with leaders and co-workers
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
