Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- ability to work in hot and cold temperature environments
- ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment
- ability to read and write handwritten notes
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand or walk 100% of shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- maintain neat and professional appearance
- comply with sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to read and communicate in English
- ability to multitask and maintain professionalism
- knowledge of basic food and beverage service
- ability to operate Micros or similar POS system is a plus
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and financial transactions
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and report concerns to management
- follow bar recipes
- keep station clean and set up properly
- greet guests timely and take orders accurately
- maintain thorough menu knowledge
- enter orders into Micros system efficiently
- complete station side work and sales responsibilities
- operate Micros and handle transactions accurately
- deliver food and drinks promptly
- work efficiently adhering to full hands in full hands out philosophy
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and requisition sheets
- complete opening and closing duties
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- assist team members as needed
- bus and reset tables
- maintain guest satisfaction through prompt service
- foster cooperative working relationships
- communicate clearly with guests and team members
- maintain friendly demeanor and smile frequently
