Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a full service restaurant
- Ability to obtain required government licenses and certificates including local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
- Willingness to maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance
- Ability to work varying schedules to meet business needs
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Job Qualifications
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- High school education is preferred
- Minimum 1 year full service restaurant experience required
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
- CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
- Effective communication skills in various situations
- Outgoing, friendly and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Ensure that all alcoholic and specialty beverages are created with the correct ingredients, correct portions and using the proper procedures
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu
- offering cocktails and other beverages
- suggesting courses
- explaining the chef's specialties
- identifying appropriate wines
- answering food preparation questions
- Address guests' special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from bar and kitchen
- deliver accompaniments and condiments as needed
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling beverages
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant, thanking guests and inviting them to return
- Deliver bill in a timely manner and accurately process payment, returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests
- Interact with the staff and guests in a positive manner to achieve 100% guest satisfaction
- Possess knowledge of the menu to assist with guest inquiries and requests as well as accurately identify food and beverage items
- Assist in other essential FOH duties including answering phones, taking to go orders and handling payments accurately, accepting reservations and managing them to prevent over booking, assisting hosts in greeting and seating guests, assisting expos in delivering food to guests, and assisting bussers with pre-bussing, bussing and resetting tables
- Complete tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant
