Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Ability to follow responsible alcohol sales procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to card guests and handle cash transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of liquor quality and preparation of different drinks
- Ability to follow company established accounting and cash handling procedures
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to comply with responsible alcohol sales procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a similar bartending role preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees
Job Duties
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and juices to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serves wine, draft or bottled beer and food to bar guests
- Collects payment (credit cards, cash) for drinks served following company established accounting procedures for all transactions
- Follows company cash handling and accounting procedures
- Observes guests to respond to their needs
- Guides guests in selecting food and beverage items
- Hand sells certain menu items to enhance guests experience
- Follows responsible alcohol sales procedures for preventing intoxication
- Able to effectively card all guests who appear under the age of 30
- Prepares drinks and verifies correct pricing
- Possesses proficient knowledge of liquor quality and preparation of different drinks and keeps updated on new and revised beverage recipes
- Assists Servers in bar knowledge
- Cleans, sanitizes, restocks and stores bar items according to procedures
- Keeps the manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objective of this position
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and effectiveness
- At all times provide a favorable image of the Company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor
- Places accurate orders and attends to guest needs when delivering food and beverage. Checks back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction
- Observes guests to respond to any additional needs
- Attends pre-shift meetings according to schedule
- Complies with company sanitation procedures
- Utilizes Company cultural training and available services to ensure that guests experience supersedes expectations
