Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one year of bartending experience and/or training
must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
one year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
must be at least 21 years of age
knowledge of cocktail recipes
knowledge of wine varieties
alcohol awareness training

Job Duties

Stocks bar
mixes and serves alcoholic beverages
assists in cost control
maintains inventory and inventory records
monitors food and beverage product usage
communicates supply needs to management
ensures compliance with state liquor laws
follows standard operating procedures
communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
accountable for checks and cash transactions
utilizes Point of Sales system
reviews banquet schedule and calendar of events
serves catered parties from service or portable bars
occasionally serves meals to guests
incorporates safe work practices
performs other duties as required
