Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

Job Qualifications

  • One year of prior bartending experience preferred
  • Prior guest relations training
  • Proper food safety training and certification as described by law
  • Experience working with POS systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.
  • Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and upbeat personality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food & beverage, health and safety regulations
  • Exemplify outstanding communication skills
  • Check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
  • Embody a strong and efficient work ethic including keeping work and guest areas clean
  • Complete opening/closing duties and follow prep/checklist standards
  • Adhere to cash handling policies including credit card transactions
  • Participate in inventory and control pour-costs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
