Job Requirements
- meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for shifts of 8 to 12 hours
- ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills
- willingness to follow food safety norms
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience preferred
- good customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of beverage preparation and safety standards
- ability to operate POS systems
Job Duties
- welcome guests and greet them with a smile when seated
- prepare the bar including pouring stations and glassware before opening and limited restocking of drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
- suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- prepare all drinks according to standard recipes using the proper glassware and garnish
- accurately take food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
- ensure the guest is well attended to, offer refills, and remove any unused items
- deliver and close out the check in a timely manner, thank guests and invite them to return
- follow all food safety standards
