Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in bartending preferred
- Previous experience with Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi and sake preferred
- Basic understanding of wine, spirits and sake preferred
- Must be certified in Responsible Alcohol Service by applicable agency
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly greets guests and takes beverage orders from servers or guests
- Promptly prepares beverage orders according to server tickets
- Mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and other beverages as requested and in compliance with company standards and recipes
- Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase and notifies management of underage or intoxicated guests
- Rings up all drink and food orders in the POS system, collects payment, balances receipts, and follows cash handling procedures
- Ensures the bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, promptly reports defective equipment
- Offers and serves food items to guests seated at the bar when appropriate
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
- Responsible for routine cleaning, setup, and breakdown of the bar, including preparation to run the bar efficiently
- Washes and sterilizes glassware and maintains attractive display of bottles and beverage products
- Completes daily and weekly cleaning and side work requirements
- Participates in scheduled catering events as required
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor
