Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
able to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
able to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
able to read and write handwritten notes
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to move about facility and stand for long periods
able to walk or stand 100% of shift
able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

must be at least 18 years of age
able to read and communicate in English
restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
ability to operate Micros system and conduct accurate financial transactions
ability to work in a noisy, fast paced environment
capable of standing and moving about for long periods
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
adhere to proper dress code
friendly and capable of maintaining a positive attitude

Job Duties

deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to company's sanitation procedures
maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
accurately take guests' food and drink orders
maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at beginning and end of shift
demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at shift end
ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas and other restaurant sections as needed
work quickly and efficiently adhering to 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required
complete opening/closing duties promptly
assist in party set up and breakdown
assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
buss and reset tables as needed
ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
maintain a favorable working relationship with all company team members to foster and promote cooperative and harmonious working climate, morale, productivity and effectiveness
listen to hear guests' orders and needs, and communicate verbally and via Micros system
be friendly and able to smile frequently
have restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
be skilled in communication to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
be able to read and communicate in English
dress in proper dress code, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
be at least 18 years of age
