Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Food handler's card
Local government food safety certification where applicable
Local government alcohol service certification where applicable
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Physical stamina to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work open, mid, and close shifts
Must be at least 21 years old as per legal drinking age
Strong communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Commitment to safety and security procedures

Job Qualifications

Food handler's card
Local government food safety certification where applicable
Local government alcohol service certification where applicable
Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
Knowledge of drink recipes and requirements
Strong guest service skills

Job Duties

Selling of alcoholic drinks to guests
Serving guests
Record sales and takes payments from the guests
Keep the bar well stocked by maintaining the beer, wine, liquor, garnishes and glasses at the bar
Refuse to serve guests that have had too much to drink
Call taxi cabs for those that are inebriated
Keeping records of tabs so in the end they can know how much a guest has had and what is to be paid
Pour drinks quickly and as per the guest's specifications
Keeps the bar clean
Pours and dispenses alcoholic beverages to legal age guests
Checks IDs of all guests that look 30 years or younger
Rotates and restocks bar coolers, with inventory from walk-in cooler
Restocks bar supplies, such as dry goods, all glassware, all juices, sodas, and garnishes
Reads and fills orders from servers
Greets guests in a friendly fashion, with world-class service in mind
Fulfills carryout orders for guests
Cashier responsibilities
Performs all side duties as assigned
