Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Read, write, and perform basic math
- Reliable transportation
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships
- Team player
- Follow manager instructions and guidance
- Communicate professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu items
- Complete assigned opening and closing side work as directed
- Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for cocktails and drinks
- Present guest checks to bar patrons, make correct change, and complete necessary credit transactions
- Process employee and manager food orders
- Relay food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participate in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serve guests in a Carside To-Go setting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Explain and demonstrate usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drive sales with suggestive selling techniques, creating a legendary customer experience
- Participate in Local Store Marketing to increase bar and restaurant traffic
- Remove trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
