Job Requirements
- ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
- ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant is preferred but not required
- strong knowledge of mixology cocktail preparation and bar equipment
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
- knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails beer wine and specialty drinks with precision and creativity
- greet guests warmly take drink orders and engage in friendly conversations provide recommendations and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience
- create and innovate cocktails while following established recipes and maintaining consistency in presentation and taste
- maintain a clean and organized bar area including the proper storage and labeling of all ingredients garnishes glassware and bar tools
- monitor and track inventory levels order supplies as needed and manage the rotation of perishable items to minimize waste
- process guest payments accurately handle cash responsibly and provide change or receipts as required
- adhere to all relevant alcohol laws and safety regulations including checking identification to verify the legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated guests
- collaborate with servers bussers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and seamless service support colleagues during busy periods
