Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
Able to stand or walk 100% of the shift
Willingness to work in hot and cold environments such as freezers and near cooking equipment
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, mopping, sweeping, and wiping
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
Must comply with alcohol awareness policies
Adherence to sanitation and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in restaurant or bar environment preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems such as Micros preferred
Knowledge of food and beverage menus
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Ability to operate credit card machines
Good multitasking and organizational skills
Customer service orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to remain professional and neat according to dress code

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in an ideal environment
Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to sanitation procedures
Maintain personal bank and ensure financial transaction accuracy
Follow alcohol awareness procedures
Assess guest demeanor and alert management when necessary
Follow bar recipes to ensure consistent product quality
Keep station clean and organized
Greet guests promptly and take accurate orders
Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
Enter orders using Micros system efficiently
Complete station side work and sales responsibilities
Operate credit card machines and handle money accurately
Ensure proper food garnishing and timely delivery
Work efficiently following the "Full hands in, Full hands out" policy
Participate in sales incentives and contests
Complete bar inventories and requisition sheets
Perform opening and closing duties
Assist in party setup and breakdown
Support other team members as needed
Bus and reset tables
Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
Foster cooperative relationships with team members
Communicate effectively with guests and team members
Maintain friendly demeanor and professionalism
Preferably have restaurant or bar experience
Generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
Read and communicate in English
Follow dress code
Work in fast-paced, noisy environment
Be at least 18 years old
