T.I.P.S. training required or other recognized consumption training
bartending school a plus
catering and bar experience a plus
knowledge of club liquor license rules
familiarity with variety of coffee, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages
ability to prepare alcoholic drinks by recipe
money management skills
ability to troubleshoot bar equipment and perform minor repairs
strong organizational skills
diplomacy and tact
adherence to social and confidentiality etiquette
telephone etiquette
ability to interact effectively with diverse populations

Job Duties

Prepare and serve beverages
operate POS system in bar
provide support to the Bar manager including providing clientele feedback and product inventory information
monitor alcohol consumption to control overindulgence and exercise necessary action
follow standard sanitation procedures
