Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior bartending or relevant food service experience preferred
Ability to maintain a positive mood and energy in a fast-paced environment
Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
Strong customer service skills
Ability to comply with health and safety standards
Flexibility to work part-time hours, including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

Able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests
Working knowledge of drinks, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register
Ability to work standing for long periods of time up to 8 hours
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 pounds

Job Duties

Greet guests with a warm, sincere smile within 30 seconds
Serve drinks to guests within 2 minutes
Maintain clean bar tops and wipe ashtrays regularly
Ensure food is delivered at the bar within 10-12 minutes and notify manager of any variance
Measure and produce drinks to standard using proper jigger measurements
Take beverage orders from guests and cocktail hostesses
Follow all cash handling and credit card procedures accurately
