Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology basics
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling cash and POS systems
Job Duties
- Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
- Prepare the bar including the pouring stations and glassware before opening and limited restocking of drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
- Suggest sale of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- Prepare all drinks according to the standard, using the recipe, glassware, and garnish
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and correctly enter them into the POS system
- Ensure customer is well attended, offer drink refills and remove any unused items
- Deliver and settle the bill in a timely manner, thank customers and invite them to return
- Follow all food safety rules
