Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in bar operation
  • TIPS or LEAD certified
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift
  • Ability to carry and lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to speak and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • TIPS or LEAD certified
  • Pleasant personality and neat appearance
  • Ability to take directions and effectively perform work
  • Sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
  • Basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • Ability to speak and understand English well enough to read and understand safety policies and converse with customers and staff
  • Positive customer service oriented attitude
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
  • Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
  • Work ethic encouraging strong urgency and quality in a team environment
  • Ability to work with other staff members
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Sets up and services individual beverage locations
  • Enforce all liquor laws
  • Maintain proper sanitation of work area
  • Follow proper safety practices in the work area
  • Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers
  • Report to Food and Beverage Personnel in appropriate uniform for assigned location
  • Prepare all beverage items for sale in the stations
  • Sell to customers charging amount indicated on price list
  • Receive and properly handle cash and/or tickets
  • Accurately verify all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor
  • Verify cash register is programmed properly according to ASM Global approved sales process
  • Follow Bar Procedures and regulations which apply to the beverage operations and the ASM Global Food and Beverage Division
  • Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager
