Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
  • must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
  • weekend availability is a must
  • ability to record orders accurately and operate POS system
  • commitment to exceptional guest service and hospitality
  • willingness to assist in other areas of restaurant operations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school education required
  • hospitality or related degrees are a plus
  • minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant or customer service industry preferred
  • knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules
  • team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Treat guests with first-class service and incredible hospitality
  • present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • take orders and promptly serve food and drinks
  • check in with guests regarding their experience
  • up-sell menu items whenever possible
  • record drink or food orders accurately into POS
  • accept and process guest payments and make the correct change
  • fill in as a server as directed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • maintain inventory and bar supplies and assist in restocking
  • ensure cleanliness of bar area, including counters, tables, equipment, and floors
  • maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally
  • wash and sterilize glassware as needed
