Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
  • ensure a good guest experience
  • present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • take orders
  • promptly serve food and drink
  • check in with guests regarding their experience
  • up-sell whenever possible
  • record drink or food orders accurately
  • accept and process guest payment
  • fill in as a server as directed
  • maintain inventory and bar supplies
  • assist in restocking and replenishing
  • ensure cleanliness of the bar area at all times
  • maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
  • wash and sterilize glassware as needed
  • high school education
  • minimum 1-year experience in restaurant/customer service industry preferred
  • must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours
  • must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred

  • proficiency in using POS systems

Job Duties

  • Present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • take orders
  • promptly serve food and drink
  • check in with guests regarding their experience
  • up-sell whenever possible
  • Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS
  • accept and process guest payment and make correct change as applicable
  • Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
  • Maintain inventory and bar supplies
  • assist in restocking and replenishing
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area including counters, tables, equipment, floors
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
  • wash and sterilize glassware as needed
