Job Requirements

Complete Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results
Satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical
Meet minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages
Physically able to lift frequently 5 to 15 pounds, pull/push 10 to 20 pounds, occasionally lift over 40 pounds
Obtain Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
Complete employment verification (E-Verify) check
Meet qualification, eligibility and background requirements
Register for Selective Service if applicable
Consent to direct deposit
Meet residency requirements or provide installation memorandum
Be willing to work in a NAF position without benefits

Job Qualifications

Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to mix exotic drinks
Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
Ability to follow cash handling procedures
Physical capability to frequently lift 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push 10 to 20 pounds, occasionally lift over 40 pounds
Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical
Meets minimum age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
Ability to obtain Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
Clear communication skills and skill in dealing with public
Ability to complete Tier 1 background investigation

Job Duties

Operates a full service bar
Mixes and serves all types of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes
Prepares complex drinks including Margaritas, Zombies, Singapore Slings
Delivers drinks to bar waiters or serves directly to patrons
Receives payments or charges to member's account
Washes glasses and bar equipment
Prepares garnishes for mixed drinks
Helps stock service bar or portable bar for catered functions
Ensures proper operation of bar, receipts, and inventory accountability
Accepts money, operates cash register, and makes change
Prepares documentation for cash funds accountability
Performs other assigned duties
