Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
food handler certification within the county of employment
ability to stand for long hours
ability to lift up to 50 lbs
prior bartending experience preferred
excellent communication skills
knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
basic cooking knowledge
ability to multitask
customer service orientation
adherence to grooming and appearance standards

Job Duties

Prepare the bar-top by laying out napkins, utensils, and menus
refill condiments and perform all preparation tasks
multitask by making server drinks and bar patron beverages
maintain a sense of urgency throughout the shift
support team members and assist guests
engage with guests considering their personal space and interaction preferences
stay updated on menu choices, specialties, and kitchen inventory
suggest dishes and assist drink selection
communicate customer needs to cooks
maintain proper dining experience by delivering items and fulfilling guest needs
properly open and pour wine
adhere to sidework duties, policies, and health requirements
maintain excellent menu and allergen knowledge
work on feet for long hours
lift up to 50 lbs
accept guest payments and provide receipts
perform basic cleaning tasks
fill in for absent staff
assist with special events
greet guests warmly
adhere to grooming standards
communicate available products and services
follow Picazzo's Steps of Service
maintain extensive liquor, beer, and wine knowledge
continuously improve menu knowledge
