Job Requirements

Must be of legal drinking age
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for extended periods
Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Must comply with all image and costume guidelines
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
Must be able to lift moderate weights
Excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

Previous bartending experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of beverage preparation and POS systems
Customer service oriented
Ability to work well within a team
Basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties

Adhering to all image and costume guidelines
Interaction with and entertainment of guests
Ensure that chicas get their drinks fast and efficiently
Prepare all beverages according to Ojos Locos specifications
Ensure that all guests have their drinking age verified
Operate a POS system to compute sale prices, total purchases, process cash and credit payment and provide customer with proper receipt and change
Ensure accurate records including cash-out and tip reports
Monitor guests for visible intoxication or suspicious activities and follow appropriate protocol including notifying supervisor or security
Keep work area clean by manicuring bar, removing dishware and trash and performing light housekeeping duties
Complete set-up, side work and closing procedures including preparing bar for service prior to opening or closing, stocking all supplies, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring bar and lounge area is in optimal condition for next shift
All other duties as assigned
