Job Requirements
- Must have at least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience
- Accurate mathematical skills
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation
- Understanding of liquor types and wine distinctions
- Knowledge of menu, specials, and wine and liquor lists
- Understanding of liquor liability laws
- Ability to follow accounting procedures
- Punctual and reliable
- Pleasant and courteous demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Able to stand or walk for long periods
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle and account for large sums of money accurately
- Able to open beer, liquor, and wine bottles regularly
- Physically able to move and transport filled glass racks and cases of beverages when no bar back is available
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in full-service bar or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in alcoholic beverage preparation
- Understanding of liquor types, wines, and their distinctions
- Familiarity with menu, specials, wine list, and liquor recipes
- Knowledge of liquor liability laws
- Ability to use accounting procedures

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages directly to customers at the bar and lounge area
- Provide food service to guests seated at the bar
- Arrange and set up beverages, mixes, and supplies efficiently according to operating procedures
- Complete all assigned side work
- Prepare ingredients for mixed beverage recipes accurately
- Use bar equipment and utensils safely during beverage preparation
- Measure and pour alcohol precisely following standard procedures
- Manage cash drawer and operate bar functions independently if necessary
- Take and fulfill food orders using communication and register systems
- Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and co-workers
- Maintain security and accuracy of bar stock inventory
- Assist host staff with answering telephones
- Maintain a friendly and service-oriented attitude at all times
- Perform all aspects of bar service according to established procedures
