Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
able to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
able to read and write handwritten notes
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
able to walk or stand 100% of shift
able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
dressed in proper dress code, neat, clean and professional at all times

Job Qualifications

ability to read and communicate in English
restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
able to work in a noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
knowledge of company sanitation procedures
ability to operate Micros point-of-sale system
capable of handling cash transactions accurately
must be friendly and possess a positive attitude
able to follow detailed instructions and company policies
able to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to company sanitation procedures
maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product and maximize guest satisfaction
keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
accurately take guests’ food and drink orders
maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items
enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side work at beginning and end of shift
demonstrate ability to operate Micros and account for all monies at the end of each shift
ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas and other sections
work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as required
complete opening and closing duties in a timely manner
assist in party set up and breakdown
assist other team members as needed
buss and reset tables as needed
ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, prebussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs
maintain a favorable working relationship with all company team members to foster cooperation and high morale
listen to guest orders and communicate with guests and team members verbally and via Micros system
be friendly and able to smile frequently
