Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to check identification and enforce legal drinking age
Previous experience in bartending or customer service preferred
Strong knowledge of beverages
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability including nights and weekends

Job Duties

Provide outstanding guest service at all times
Maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and having them removed
Work with team members and communicate needs to management
Efficiently prepare drinks according to our recipes and timing standards using a measured pour
Possess product knowledge and have an ability to explain to the differences and advantages to the craft beer selection, liquors, and wine
Check guests identification to confirm they meet the legal drinking age
Answer any and all guest questions regarding our menu including food and beverage ingredients, allergy information, item availability and Wamesit Lanes policies
Be engaging, enthusiastic, and personable in order for the guest to have a pleasurable experience
Complete opening & closing side work each shift which may include putting away liquor orders, organizing walk-in fridge, tapping new kegs, evaluating quality of products and par levels, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Be a team player and help whenever necessary such as answering the phone, helping seat guests, refilling / pre-busing other servers tables
Be aware of your surroundings and what is going on throughout the facility as a whole
Work corporate and private events at times
Complete any other tasks assigned by management
