Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years as a bartender in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to local and state laws
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (TIPS)
- Food Handler Certificate (ServSafe)
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance according to 7OH2 policy
- Availability to work weekends and select holidays as needed
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Patience
- Positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years as a bartender in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages as per local and state laws
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktails
- Certified in Alcohol Awareness (TIPS)
- Certified in Food Handler (ServSafe)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Positive attitude
- Ability to build strong relationships in Downtown Detroit
- Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitary regulations
- Ability to anticipate and meet guests’ needs
Job Duties
- Serve each guest to their complete satisfaction while exceeding their expectations
- Engage in positive interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Attend all required meetings and training
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform
- Follow food safety and sanitary guidelines issued by the Health Department
- Complete assigned side work in the allocated timeframe
- Demonstrate mixology skills
- Build strong relationships in Downtown Detroit
- Multi-task effectively
- Possess excellent people and communication skills
- Have complete knowledge of all floorplans, table numbers, and stations
- Operate POS systems (TOAST) proficiently
- Know and use the correct verbiage of company brands
- Anticipate guests' needs proactively
- Maintain table cleanliness and order
- Reconcile tables’ final bills per company policy
- Take ownership of all work performed and communicate effectively
- Complete tasks (side work and other duties) on time or notify appropriate persons with alternate plans
