Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bartending or customer service preferred
  • Ability to verify guest age for alcohol service
  • Capable of standing, bending, lifting and moving intermittently during shift
  • Must follow company operating procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to engage guests and create personal connections
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to manage inventory and control costs
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and cash handling
  • Ability to follow company procedures and guidelines
  • Good physical stamina
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Make personal connections with guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations
  • Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM and BARS programs and follow company standard operating procedures
  • Check guests identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Read and organize tickets to quickly and accurately serve guests and manage large crowds
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per standard operating procedures
  • Perform service, cleanliness and operational tasks including bussing, resetting bar, restocking caddies, cleaning menus and menu placement
  • Stock bar and refill ice bins
  • Remove debris and spills from floor in assigned section
  • Replace kegs and restock bottle beer and alcohol when necessary
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory and cost control
  • Prepare, wash and sterilize glassware and bar tools as needed
  • Take food and beverage orders and process guest payments accurately
  • Limit problems related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions
  • Maintain clean and sanitary bar area and equipment
  • Support opening and closing duties as identified in FOH support responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
