Job Requirements
- 2-3 years bartending experience required for all external hires
- Demonstrated hospitality or customer experience required
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to memorize and describe ingredients and preparation of food and beverages
- Ability to prepare dozens of signature beverages perfectly by memory
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
- Ability to handle and carry dishware and glassware safely
- Ability to place orders within point of sale systems and accurately handle payments
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform duties in hot or cold environments
- Frequent hand washing and sanitation required

Job Duties
- Exemplify Bar Louie's mission, vision and values in the way you approach your shift each day
- Demonstrate a maniacal commitment to cleanliness, sanitation and guest and alcohol safety
- Learn the menu top to bottom and inside and out to seamlessly answer questions, describe and recommend items, and help guests find favorites
- Master the tricks of the trade including unique recipes, free pouring, flair and responsible alcohol service
- Inspire guests with your food and drink recommendations in a gastrobar setting
- Protect guests by accurately ringing, preparing and serving items as requested
- Assist with inventory management by carefully accounting for every drop from every bottle
- Actively complete side work such as bussing and sanitizing the bar top and washing glassware
- Quickly complete opening and closing duties for each shift ensuring success for you and your peers
- Follow all policies and processes communicated by your manager or the company
- Provide accurate availability, check schedule regularly, and maintain consistent attendance
