Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender or in hospitality preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customers or situations
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register and handle transactions

- Ability to follow a recipe to build cocktails
Job Duties
- Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis
- Requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily occupancy forecast
- Maintains stock, cuts, and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks
- Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- Abides by all state, federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to service of alcoholic beverages and food safety
- Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale, creates a check for each guest to maintain accountability
- Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, records transactions, and ensures vouchers are properly executed
- Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items
- deposits cash drops and secures bank
- Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis
- Performs any other job-related duties as assigned
