Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in bartending or customer service is a plus
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with alcohol service laws
  • Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred but not required on-the-job training may be provided
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences ensure all drinks are presented neatly and consistently
  • Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences address any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition
  • Verify the age of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age follow all laws and regulations related to alcohol service
  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately ensuring proper change is given keep a record of tabs and close out checks as needed
  • Work closely with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service communicate effectively to manage busy periods and special events
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory including ordering supplies and checking for wastage report any discrepancies or shortages to the management
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations including proper handling and storage of alcohol maintain a clean and safe work environment including regular sanitation practices
