Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • one year bartending experience and/or training
  • must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
  • alcohol awareness training
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Stocks bar
  • mixes and serves alcoholic beverages
  • assists in cost control
  • maintains inventory records
  • monitors use of food and beverage products
  • communicates supply needs to management
  • ensures compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
  • communicates guest requests and concerns to Department Manager
  • performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking
  • handles checks and cash transactions
  • utilizes Point of Sales system
  • reviews banquet schedule and calendar of events
  • serves catered parties from service or portable bars
  • occasionally serves meals to guests
  • incorporates safe work practices
  • performs other duties as required
